- Nathan Roberts02.03.2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★I gave a similar review to the Dubbo Observatory... The main difference being the sky is darker in Coonabarabran. We were here just before a full moon. It was amazing peering through the telescope and seeing the moon up so close. This being the case, however, made the night sky very bright and not ideal for viewing other celestial objects. It was still fantastic and got to see some planets, globular clusters and binary star systems. Defiantly worth while whatever the time depending on what you want to focus on.
